PL-50 Channel Player

The PL-50 combines many of the FlexStream Player features of the PL-100 with the display control features of the DC-50.  As such, the PL-50 is an excellent tool for receiving MX smart headend channels that are normally transmitted on coax wire; instead, the channel is distributed over IP networks.  

When paired with an MX Smart Headend, these devices enabled the distribution of traditional cable TV channels over an IP network on CAT5 or CAT6 wiring.  Use them to add a few TVs to your current coax network (using a CAT5/6 wiring or to create a new installation that is IP only to a new wing, for example.  In addition, since the PL-50 has all the control capabilities of the DC-50, the TV to which the PL-50 is connected can be remotely controlled (Channel, Volume, Power).  

Designed for the future, upcoming software releases of this device will support a stand-alone player mode, similar to the PL-100, under the control and management of the FlexStream Cloud and compatible with FlexStream Channels.
