Intelligent Media Delivery for IP-Connected DisplaysFlexStream Players are intelligent, remotely managed network devices that receive AV content and control signals from the FlexStream Cloud and/or on-site FlexStream MX Smart Headends.
Similar to a digital signage player, but with software specifically tailored for our customer base, these devices are easily integrated into an existing network of FlexStream devices or used as a starter to create a new one. Leveraging the software developed for FlexStream MX channel creation, FlexStream Players use an onboard web browser to process and render multimedia content — including images, video playlists, and live streams — into an engaging, full-screen AV channel, outputted via HDMI to any TV or monitor.
FlexStream PL Software Highlights:
- The PL software enables media on a single display using technology derived from the FlexStream MX Smart Headend including content management and digital signage presentations
- The PL is compatible with existing FlexStream networks including FlexStream Channels which are defined in the FlexStream Cloud and assigned to devices, avoiding streaming and buffering issues that may happen due to network latency issues..
- FlexStream Channels leverage the FlexStream Cloud extensive partner content library, privately uploaded media files, media playlists, and HTML presentations. YouTube, YouTube Live, Vimeo links as well as local sources can be leveraged for content.
- FlexStream Channels support scheduled events which are timezone aware, enabling events on networks that traverse timezones by allowing events to occur on local time or synchronized for simulcast to a shared time.
- The PL software is designed for use with or without FlexStream MX Smart Headends
- Remotely managed and software updateable simplifies management of a large group of devices
